We come together in the life of the Church through active participation in the Divine Liturgy and the annual rhythm of fasts and feasts. We seek to respond to God's love through prayer, fellowship, service, and bearing witness to the Kingdom of God.

Our History
St Mary & St Mark Church is a Coptic Orthodox parish within the Coptic Orthodox Archdiocese of the Northern California and Western United States. Our church had its first liturgy in December 2016 to serve the community of San Francisco and neighboring areas and was formally established as its own parish in the Coptic Orthodox Church by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II in 2018. In 2024 we added a second site in Oakland, CA, recognizing the need of our growing congregation to have more frequent services and to have greater accessibility through public transit.
